Antoin Cox

Before I went to Filmschool in 1995 in Amsterdam I studied electronics, when I graduated in 1999 for Sounddesign and Production Sound Recording I started with my fist feature, after that I did a lot of sound stuff, sound designing for feature, documentary recording and postproduction, commercial advertisement.

Since 2004 I focused on feature Production Sound Recording. Did a lot of International film projects in Europe, some in the USA, and many other places and circumstances. I am also cinema audio society member

Favorite DPA Microphones
The 4660 Series Heavy Duty Omnidirectional Microphone is the perfect mike for spotfx, interior car recording, and hide away mike for big shots. Easy to mount, to use and it sounds amazing. In cars I rig 3 of them on the top ceiling and there is no mounting issue for 'big' mikes, not in the frame and it sounds super!!
