Salvatore Benvenuto Zocco

Since 1990 I am the Product Manager for Pro Audio at M. Casale Bauer and, since 1993 I support DPA microphones in Italy in terms of technical informations, choice and practical use at any level. Since 1998 I have held lessons and masterclasses about acoustic and microphones in several Italian Universities and Music Conservatoriums. Since 2008 I regularly teach Music Production and Recording for BA students at Music Academy in Bologna.

Career highlights

As studio engineer, I have been working with, among the others, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, Alfredo Golino, Hengel Gualdi, Nek, Giovanni Pezzoli (Stadio), Ricky Portera.

As DPA - M. Casale Bauer microphone specialist, I am working with RAI, Mediaset and Sky, live engineers like Enrico Belli (Il Volo), Marco Dal Lago (Nannini, Nek, Mannoia), studio engineers like Massimo Aluzzi (Splash), Maurizio Biancani (Fonoprint), Marcello Spiridioni (Forward Studios).

As lecturer, I have held lessons to the faculty of engineering of Sapienza (Roma) and Bologna, and masterclasses to the Music Conservatoriums of Bologna, Frosinone, Milano, Vicenza

I am holding courses of Music Production and Studio Recording for BA students at Music Academy in Bologna.
