DPA Microphones A/S (“the Manufacturer”) hereby declares that all microphones produced and supplied by the Manufacturer are covered by a two-year warranty counting from the date of initial purchase from the Manufacturer, with the exception of microphones from the d:facto™ and pencil mic (recording) series (except 2006* and 2011*) series, which are covered by a five-year warranty. The five-year warranty is valid for microphones bought after Jan. 1, 2009.
Validity
The warranty is limited to the mechanical functionality of the microphones and such specifications as published by the Manufacturer. Regardless of an extended warranty period offered to distributors and suppliers, the warranty towards customers cannot exceed two years from the date of purchase by the customer. Under certain circumstances, the customer can be required to document the date of purchase. Your purchase invoice serves as your warranty registration. The invoice must state the date of purchase as well as name and serial number of the product.
The DPA warranty covers:
- Only the microphone
- Mechanical functionality
- Documented specifications

a) Damage or loss caused by modification, alteration, repair by any unauthorized party
